Hello, how is each artist unique? I believe great art stems from one's genes. By shadowing family members' talent will spur creating developments in yourself.
My Gramma's first cousin was Guy Lombardo. Although I sing in choirs, and do create songs, and think I can conduct, I prefer painting landscapes in acrylic or alcohol inks. I am truly fascinated with the flow and blending of watercolours, too. I motivate myself by painting what I like, especially calming scenes.
Practicing and being with other like minds may be the only way to improve, especially with a relaxed mind in an unconfined space.
