Exhibitions & Events
BFAA members have access to numerous exhibit venues and calls to entry are regularly posted. Throughout the year, group and solo shows are held at the Fireside Lounge at the AGB and The Hub located within Burlington Centre.
The Artist’s Mark, our BFAA annual juried show, is a very popular event that brings the BFAA, the AGB and local art out into the community. Funded through a City of Burlington Arts and Culture Grant, it is an exciting annual celebration of art within the Burlington community. As a juried exhibit, member artists are invited to submit work based on the entry criteria. The commentary on accepted works by the professional art juror is always a well-attended event that provides great artistic insights for all.
Select sponsors allow us to exhibit art within their businesses, including Martin & Hillyer Associates, John Restagno Investments and Insurance (Waterdown) and Karina Gould, MP.
The BFAA also participates in two All Guild shows at the AGB in the spring and winter of each year. This is an opportunity for our members to display and sell their art, both framed and unframed.
Any art which is sold during or in connection with a BFAA exhibition or sale is subject to a 20% commission, payable to the BFAA.
Check back often to discover opportunities to view our members' work. If you would like to participate in any of these exhibitions, please join our guild.
