Laura Clark: Laura’s art is realistic, detailed and colourful. Her pictures are inspired by her life long love of cottaging in Muskoka, her love of flowers and her husband, Fred Steven’s large photo collection of their experiences. Her watercolour paintings capture the natural beauty of a moment in time!
Laura’s love of art started with her father teaching her to draw at a very early age. His interests in drawing, sculpturing and artistic construction were inspiring. Laura pursued many artistic hobbies during her working years. However, once she retired she returned to drawing and painting and took art classes by private artists as well as many courses at the Art Gallery of Burlington.
“I lose myself in my art and focus on line, colour and form to recreate a moment of beauty. Each piece brings me happiness! I love it! “
