Caroline Stellings is an award-winning author and illustrator of numerous books for children and young adults.
The art work for her best-selling “Malagawatch Mice” series is now part of the permanent collection of the government of Nova Scotia and is displayed regularly at the Highland Village in Iona. She began working in watercolour but has since turned her attention to larger pieces in pastel. Because she lives in a forest next to Grindstone Creek in Waterdown, much of her art focuses on the birds and animals that reside there. Caroline has won both the ForeWord Book of the Year for juvenile fiction and the Hamilton literary award for fiction.
She has also been nominated for several prestigious awards.
