Art may be considered a theatre for the eyes and mind. Being someone with an irrepressible love for colours, and a truly imaginative mind, painting offered me a natural opportunity to entertain.
My desire to offer something beautiful, intriguing and stimulating fuels my efforts to create each work.
Acrylic is my medium of choice, despite my occasional flirtation with mixed media such as pencils, crayons and pastels. Landscapes are my favourite subjects and there is none more intoxicating than “The Canadian”. Occasionally, I have dabbled in seascapes, Still Life, abstract, portraits, figure drawing, winter and fall scenes.
One thing is sure – painting is a journey to a place where even the artist doesn’t know where it will end. I invite you to check out my work, and perhaps you might experience the joy and happiness these works have brought me.
