I've found the most rewarding aspect to my art, is learning how to see. It may seem an odd thing to say, as we all use our eyes to see things. Yet we see, not only with our eyes but with our minds and hearts and our souls.
It's this three-way visual relationship that's on display. Many an artist; whether it be in music, in word or through images, have upon the onset become oblivious to the aforementioned, and thus leave their audience in awe to this connectivity - stretching to a point where the artist will wonder who's divine hand created the work. I believe this is that drives many an artist to an unbeknownst selfishness of creation.
