Lydia S. Swanson
(Agnew)
Lydia grew up in the cultural collage of Toronto. Dancing, singing, writing and drawing developed her creative talents and continued to evolve in her educational career of 42 years. After retiring, she enrolled in coursework at Sheridan College in Interior Decorating where she found the study of colour irresistible. This led to her journey into fine arts.
Art courses throughout Ontario introduced her to a variety of painting techniques and media. She has participated in group art exhibits, art auctions and juried shows in Mississauga, Burlington and Dundas. She has been on the Board of Visual Arts Mississauga and is on the executive of the Burlington Fine Arts Association.
Recently, she has illustrated her husband’s book, “Moments Near Life’s End”.
